Ethics related word art inside the letters of the word Culture

Your commitment to excellence and professionalism shines through in the work you do each and every day to positively impact the lives of our students, employees, and community.

As part of UCF’s aspiration to be a best place to learn and work and our continued commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, we are evaluating the current compliance and ethics culture at UCF. In connection with this initiative, we are asking all employees to participate in the UCF Compliance and Ethics Culture Survey to gauge the ethical culture and health at UCF.

University Compliance and Ethics conducts this survey every two years to gauge the overall ethical culture at UCF. The survey questions are intended to obtain employee’s perceptions of our culture, awareness of the compliance and ethics program, and the perception of leadership. The responses allow us to determine whether employees have observed misconduct, are comfortable reporting misconduct, and feel protected from retaliation. The office will use the survey results to identify opportunities for improvements to the program, including additional training and awareness that contributes to the well-being of all students, faculty, and staff. These efforts support the university’s aspiration to be a best place to learn and work. The results will also be benchmarked against previous years’ results to detect possible trends in the overall culture from survey year to survey year.

For this year’s survey all employees were sent an email on March 4 containing the direct link to the survey. Several reminder emails are scheduled to encourage participation. The survey is brief and should take less than ten minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers, and responses are completely anonymous and confidential. All responses are sent directly to the UCF Office of Operational Excellence and Assessment Support for processing. Summary reports on the culture survey findings will be shared through multiple avenues including a future edition of the UCF IntegrityStar newsletter.

We would really appreciate hearing from all employees – each voice matters. If you’ve already submitted a response, we thank you!  If you have not yet responded, would you please consider doing it today?  To access the survey, you can click the link located in the email you received.

To show our appreciation, we will be awarding prizes to randomly selected participants. After you submit the survey, simply take a photo or screen image of the final page confirming the recording of your survey and submit that image to complianceandethics@ucf.edu to be entered into the prize drawing. Winners will be randomly selected after the conclusion of the survey during the week of April 8, 2024.

The survey is open the entire month of March. The last day to submit is April 1, 2024.

If you have any questions about the survey, please do not hesitate to contact University Compliance and Ethics at complianceandethics@ucf.edu.
